The agreement between you and ZUVVA when you use our service.

1. Acceptance of terms
By creating an account, installing the ZUVVA mobile app, or using any part of the service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”) and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use ZUVVA.
ZUVVA is operated by GrandGate Ventures Private Limited (“ZUVVA”, “we”, “us”), a company incorporated in India.
2. The service
ZUVVA is a trust-based people network. The service includes features for managing a private trust graph (contacts, circles, vouches), public discovery (Billboard, profiles), messaging, emergency assistance (SOS), and related tools available through our mobile apps and website.
We may add, change, or remove features at any time. Where a change materially reduces functionality, we will give reasonable notice.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use ZUVVA.
If you are between 13 and 18, you may use ZUVVA only with the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
You must have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract under applicable law.
You must not be barred from using the service under the laws of your jurisdiction.
4. Your account
You must provide accurate, current information when you register and keep your profile up to date.
You are responsible for safeguarding your phone, OTP codes, and access credentials.
You are responsible for everything that happens under your account.
Notify us immediately of any unauthorised access at security@zuvva.in.
One person, one account. Multiple accounts or impersonation may result in suspension.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
Harass, threaten, stalk, or intimidate other users.
Post or share content that is illegal, defamatory, hateful, obscene, or infringes others' rights.
Send spam, chain messages, or unsolicited commercial content.
Impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation with anyone.
Scrape, reverse engineer, or interfere with the service or its infrastructure.
Abuse the trust system (e.g. mass-vouching strangers, selling vouches, creating fake networks).
Misuse SOS or other emergency features for non-emergencies.
Use the service in violation of applicable law including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the DPDP Act, 2023.
We reserve the right to remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
6. Your content
You retain ownership of content you create on ZUVVA (messages, posts, comments, photos, etc.). By submitting content you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, display, reproduce, and distribute that content as needed to operate and improve the service, subject to your privacy settings.
This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except where retention is required by law or where the content has been shared with others (their copies are not retroactively deleted).
7. Trust network & vouching
ZUVVA's core feature is a graph of relationships built from user-initiated “vouches”. By vouching for another user you indicate that you personally know them and stand behind the connection. A vouch is your personal judgment, not a certification by ZUVVA.
ZUVVA does not verify the identity, character, or claims of any user. We do not warrant the accuracy of any vouch, profile, or trust path. You are responsible for exercising your own judgment before engaging, meeting, or transacting with anyone discovered through the service.
8. SOS & emergency features
ZUVVA includes an “SOS” feature that broadcasts a request for help to contacts in your trust network. SOS is not a substitute for emergency services. In a life-threatening emergency, call 112 (India) or your local emergency number first.
We do not guarantee that any SOS will be received, read, or acted upon by any recipient. We do not employ or dispatch first responders. ZUVVA bears no liability for outcomes arising from use, non-use, or misuse of the SOS feature.
9. Intellectual property
The ZUVVA name, logo, app, website, software, designs, and all related materials are owned by GrandGate Ventures Private Limited or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission, except as expressly permitted by these Terms or by law.
10. Privacy
Our handling of your personal data is governed by the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
11. Suspension & termination
You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete Account. We may suspend or terminate your account, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms or applicable law, or where necessary to protect the safety of users or the integrity of the service.
Provisions that by their nature should survive (intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, governing law) will survive termination.
12. Disclaimers
ZUVVA is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that any defects will be corrected.
13. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ZUVVA and its officers, directors, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenues, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or relating to your use of (or inability to use) the service.
Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim or (b) INR 1,000.
14. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless ZUVVA and its affiliates from any claim, demand, loss, or damage (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to (a) your use of the service, (b) your content, (c) your violation of these Terms, or (d) your violation of any rights of a third party.
15. Governing law & disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Subject to applicable consumer-protection rights you may have, any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hyderabad, Telangana, India.
Before filing any formal claim, we encourage you to contact us at legal@zuvva.in so we can try to resolve the issue.
16. Changes to these terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the app and via email to your registered address at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
